Pierre obtained his B.Com and LL.B. degrees from the Rand Afrikaans University (now University of Johannesburg). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He completed his articles of clerkship (candidate attorney) at the firm Jay Mothobi Incorporated of Johannesburg. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
After having completed his articles of clerkship he practiced with the same firm as a Professional Assistant. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hereafter he practiced for a brief period as an Associate at the firm AJS Attorneys of Randburg. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
After having practiced as an attorney he transferred to the non-practising roll and was employed by the City of Johannesburg in a legal advising capacity (within the Revenue Department). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He was promoted to a position in the Shareholder Unit (later renamed Group Governance Department) of the City of Johannesburg, where he became intricately involved in corporate governance, administrative law, public sector law and municipal law. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He obtained a CIS Professional Post-Graduate Qualification: Company Secretarial and Governance Practice, whilst employed at the City of Johannesburg. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the beginning of 2013 he commenced pupillage at the Pretoria Bar where he served pupillage under the mentorship of Advocate Wayne Gibbs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He practiced from Circle Chambers in Brooklyn, Pretoria from 2013 – February 2017 and was a member of the Johannesburg Bar from March 2017 – August 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
